Sleeping up to 16 guests across 6 king bedrooms, it is the largest yurt in the world by bedrooms, blending the scale of a large cabin with the warmth and uniqueness of a yurt-shaped stay. Located just 2 hours from Washington DC and 15 minutes from Luray Caverns, this secluded property combines expansive indoor living with unforgettable outdoor experiences.

Inside, you will enjoy 6 spacious hotel-style king bedrooms, multiple spa bathrooms with rainfall showers, a private loft with pool table, a home movie theater with a star immersion ceiling, gourmet kitchen, entertainment area with a 75" HDTV and PlayStation 5, and a cozy wood-burning stove that anchors the space. Outside, unwind in the year-round hot tub, gather around the fire pit, kayak on your private pond, play disc golf, or take on the on-site $5,000 hole-in-one golf challenge. Everything is included (including premium linens, toiletries, snacks, and cooking essentials), so all you have to do is show up.

Check-in is at 4pm and checkout is at 11am. For flexibility, we offer early check-in at 2pm or late checkout at 1pm for $100 each when our cleaning crew can accommodate. You'll receive your door code via email and text 24 hours before arrival for self check-in.

Pets are welcome at Luray Yurt with a $100 fee per stay and pre-approval. Please message us confirming your pet is well-trained! Guests will enjoy our private 10-acre property for leashed exploration, dog shower, a fully fenced deck (excluding the parking side), and easy access to some of the best dog-friendly hiking in the area, including Shenandoah National Park, the Massanutten Ridge Trail, and the nearby George Washington National Forest.

Yes, the hot tub is completely private, exclusive to your group, and available year-round at this luxury Virginia yurt.

The 7-person hot tub is heated to 102°F year round on the spacious deck with mountains views. Please shower first, no oils or glass allowed, and keep cover on when not in use. Children under 12 are not permitted. Our hot tub is professionally maintained with water testing smart meter monitoring. If water was changed or refilled, it may take a few hours to heat. Please see all posted rules before using.

Luray Yurt is best for 12 guests, with 6 king bedrooms, USB-C charging, and adjustable pillows. We comfortably welcome up to 16 guests with an additional king sleeper in the loft (with a privacy screen as a third bedroom), and a spacious sleeper couch in the living area and in the basement. All linens, towels, and sleeping masks are provided.

Yes! Starlink high-speed internet with a dedicated workspace, including a desk and ergonomic chair, perfect for remote work. However, cell coverage is spotty.

This luxury cabin is just 3 miles (about a 7-minute drive) to Luray Caverns. We're also 15 miles (about a 25-minute drive) to the Thornton Gap entrance of Shenandoah National Park and just 1.5 miles (approximately a 5-minute drive) to the Massanutten Ridge Trail, perfect for hiking, scenic overlooks, and outdoor adventure right outside your door.
